Foodzy App Reviews

concept is nice

but the app is rather full of bugs, no iPhone 5 optimization, overall lack of support (I just saw on the website help desk some useful features asked since 2011 and not addressed yet). Looks like its abandoned by the dev? + poor synchronization between web & app versions Personally I would appreciate at least basic issues to be solved before considering any new features.

Couldnt get past sign up

Tapped on the height and weight multiple times but it wouldnt let me enter anything nor would it let me sign up without entering it. Waste of time.

Useless

Very limited choice of foods in comparison with other apps. You can add calories but you cant record what you have burnt unless you switch to the paid version!

Doesnt work

Seems like it could be a good app, but I cant even click to sign up. When I click it nothing happens so I dont really see the point of an app you cant even use.

One star because I cant open this app. Why? I dont have a Facebook account, so I cant log in

Great app!

This is a really great app. Lost a few kilos and its great to track your eating habits.

No good

Cant get anything but a white screen

Broken

The app fails to login….always ends up on a plain white screen. Looks like a nice app….I look forward to a fix.

Foodzy

Cant even log in to see if this app is any good. Has no info about how to log in either.

Great!

Really well planned, with eay to use features and great UI. I think it has a lot of potential to be really useful, especially once more peopleget on the platform and extend its library.

Must buy

To be able to sync to fitbit, you have to buy Pro version of Foodzy. Not worth it. Would rather use google to look up nutrition facts.

Needs work.

I cant really review this, as I havent really tried it. As I went through the profile creation there was an option to choose activity levels - very active, average, a bit lazy. I take umbrage with "a bit lazy." Many people are less active for a lot of reasons that have nothing whatsoever to do with laziness. That kind of language can be extremely discouraging. If loading this app is the first step towards someone taking control of their intake & exercise, that language is a slap in the face. Not cool.

Broken & Unusuable

This app looks like it could be promising. Unfortunately, theres no way to get past the initial sign-up screen. Any attempt to sign-up results in an "Unknown Error." And any attempt to contact the developers for support receives no response (unless you count the auto-reply system). Until they fix the standing issues, this app is awful and unusable.

Horrible

I cant get passed the sign up screen. Facebook or email options doesnt work. Looks promising. Hopefully this will be fixed.

Promising, but buggy

The layout and design is very promising. Looks super easy to use. However, theyre still working out the kinks. I cant even get my height to enter anything but 51" (every time I change it, the app doesnt recognize that change). Also, theres too much analysis functionality thats left to a buy up option, which feels like a bait and switch. In summary, two stars for overall design and the promise it holds for someday (not today) becoming a great app.

One of the best

My favorite diet tracker ever for iPhone. Although there should be more integration with HealthKit and iPhone 6. Calories is great, but more info doesnt hurt.

Terrible unless you like complicated tracking

I was looking for a simple calorie tracker: I eat x oz of food y and that = z calories. This app decides that when you enter "mushroom" you must mean any number of mushrom related foods instead of a simple mushroom from the produce department. When you finally find the entry for mushroom it doesnt offer the opportunity to say how much you ate, it just decides that it equals some number of bits, whatever those are. It also seems to think that it know how much (in bits) you should be eating, or that you care if people you know ate the same thing. Additionally, when using this app you dont eat, you check in. The achievements are right out. I do not need a pat on the back for clicking an option. Is it really so hard to offer an app that allows calorie logging without inflicting unwelcome opinions on the user?

Bummed

I thought this was to integrate with my health app. I cant figure it out at all. And I paid for another useless calorie app. Its Not as good as the ones I have. I want my money back apple. Frustrated.

Very disappointed

This app looked decent, but it doesnt work. Whenever I try to change one of the settings, it crashes. It also wont switch off of metric units and some of the buttons in settings are off my screen, as if it thinks I have an iPhone 6.

Few Items

I wanted to like it. Logging items is dead simple but there are so few presets its useless. I understand I cant be 100% accurate with presets but I just want a general idea. Few pre built options makes this a non starter.
